Can I earn frequent traveler points and miles if I book for someone else?

SIXT ride currently lets you earn miles and points with six frequent traveler programs.

Points and miles from your SIXT ride can take up to six weeks to transfer to your frequent traveler membership account — so if they haven't appeared yet, they're likely still being processed.

What you need to know

• Transfer time: up to six weeks from the date of your ride
• Entitlement deadline: points and miles expire two months after your ride, so check your account before then

You earn 3 miles or points per euro spent on premium SIXT ride categories — BUSINESS, BUSINESS XL, and FIRST — credited to your chosen frequent traveler program.

How earnings are calculated

• Only rides in the BUSINESS, BUSINESS XL, or FIRST category qualify
• Earnings are based on the ride fare converted to euros if your fare is in a different currency
• Rate: 3 miles or points per euro spent

What's not included

The following charges are excluded from the miles or points calculation:

• Extra mileage charges added after booking
• Waiting time fees
• Additional riding time charges

How to add your membership

1. Proceed to the last step of your booking
2. Select your frequent traveler program under Booking Options
3. Enter your membership ID

Before you confirm

• The name on your SIXT account must exactly match the name on your frequent traveler program membership
• Only one frequent traveler program can be added per booking

Miles and points are credited to the passenger traveling — not to the person who made the booking — so you can't earn them on a SIXT ride booked for someone else.

How crediting works

• The passenger's name on the SIXT ride booking must exactly match the name on their frequent traveler program membership.
• If the names don't match — even due to a spelling mistake — no miles or points will be credited.
