When will a driver be assigned to my SIXT ride?

Your SIXT ride driver is assigned within the days following your booking. For last-minute bookings, our support team works to find a suitable driver as quickly as possible.

Requesting a driver you've ridden with before

Save a driver you've enjoyed using the "Favorite Driver" feature in your SIXT account. When you book in the same area again, we'll do our best to assign that driver to your ride.

1. Open the SIXT App and go to "Manage bookings"
2. Select the ride with your preferred driver
3. Add the driver as a favorite

Premium class drivers

Premium class drivers are professionally dressed in black suits and deliver a high standard of service.

Your driver's name and vehicle details are sent to you by email and SMS 30 minutes before your scheduled pickup — you can also check them any time in the SIXT App or on the website.

• SIXT App — sign in and open your booking
• Website — sign in and open "Manage bookings"

Can your driver contact you?

Yes. Your driver may call you on the phone number you provided at booking. Keep your phone reachable in the lead-up to pickup so the handover goes smoothly.
