How does the mileage package work with my SIXT+ car subscription?

Your SIXT+ car subscription is tied to the email address you used when you booked — if it's not showing in the SIXT App, you're most likely signed in with a different email address.

Subscription not showing up

1. Check which email address you're currently signed in with in the SIXT App.
2. Check which email address you used when you booked (your booking confirmation is a good reference).
3. If they don't match, sign out of the app and sign back in with the email address from your booking.

Your subscription will appear automatically once you're signed in with the correct account.

Features missing from the app

If certain features aren't visible, you're likely running an older version of the SIXT App. Check the App Store or Google Play Store for an available update, install it, and all current features will be displayed.

Can additional drivers see the subscription?

No. Only the subscriber and contract holder can view and manage the subscription in the SIXT App — access is linked to the email address used during booking.

Managing your subscription via the website

You can access the most important subscription details by signing in to your customer account on the website. However, some features — such as changing your mileage package or pausing your subscription — are only available in the SIXT App.

How do I report my mileage?

SIXT needs your vehicle's current mileage every month to schedule the right service and maintenance intervals. Many vehicles report this automatically via a built-in telematics interface. If yours doesn't, you'll receive a monthly email reminder and can submit your mileage in under a minute:

1. Sign in to your account on the website or in the SIXT App
2. Go to the SIXT+ car subscription section and open your subscription
3. Enter your current mileage under "Manage Mileage"

How do I check how many miles I have left?

Open the SIXT App and go to "Manage Mileage" to see your booked mileage package, your accumulated Mileage Vault balance, and your usage for the current month — all in one place.

What is the Mileage Vault?

Your mileage package covers a 30-day billing period. Any miles you don't use in a given month roll over into your Mileage Vault, building up a balance you can draw on throughout your subscription term. If you go over your monthly allowance, the system automatically uses your Mileage Vault balance first. You're only charged for extra miles if your vault runs out. The price per extra mile depends on your vehicle model and is shown in your online account and in the SIXT App.

How do I adjust my mileage package?

You can increase or decrease your mileage package at any time during your subscription — the change takes effect immediately for the current month:

1. Open the SIXT App and go to your active subscription
2. Tap "Manage Mileage" and then "Adjust Mileage Package"
3. Select your new package and confirm
